Ancora sorrido…

Quando penso a quante canzoni in lingua inglese ho storpiato durante l’adolescenza.

«Uan ciu frii for…. istaffai daccadaun.. tanana… nana nana …»

E ritrovarsi da adulti a scoprire che il testo non era esattamente quello, ma la soddisfazione di non sentirsi soli, perché quasi tutti i coetanei avevano capito esattamente la stessa cosa.

Troppo forte!

In quest’epoca veloce, invece, sono alla ricerca di canzoni dal ritmo melodico lento, quasi a voler cercare rifugio o conforto nelle parole del testo.

Per questo cerco di capire il significato anche di un testo scritto in inglese, così è difficile che ne escano delle personali interpretazioni di pronuncia.

When I think about songs that I have mistranslated when I was teenager.

And then being adults and find that the lyrics wasn’t exactly that you thought but the real satisfaction not to be the only one because all people my own age have understood the same thing.

So cool!

Instead in this fast modern era, I’m looking for songs with a slow melody, almost to seek shelter in words inside of lyric.

For this reason I try to understand the words of an English song, and hardly I do my personal translation of pronunciation.
