Lascia che accada 🍂 / Let it happen 🍂

Mentre scrivo queste righe, dalla finestra spalancata della cucina, entra un’aria settembrina che mi solletica un pensiero.

“Sarebbe bello essere come l’Autunno!”

Imparare a lasciare andare, a mutare e soprattutto ad accogliere il cambiamento come un’opportunità.

Mi immagino la leggerezza di un’anima che si spoglia delle cose che non le servono più. La sento respirare! Come se trattenerle la stesse in qualche modo soffocando.

Poi la vedo mutare… vestirsi di nuovi colori, come fa la terra con il manto di foglie e finalmente incamminarsi verso nuove consapevolezze.

Credo che nella magia di questa stagione ci sia anche una nota di malinconica dolcezza, forse perché l’aria inizia a profumare di legna bruciata e dai comignoli escono i primi segnali di fumo, quasi per rammentarci che ci sarà sempre un caldo rifugio nel quale approdare per una sosta o per pensare.

Ma il cammino è lungo ed è già iniziato il conto alla rovescia per l’avvento del Natale, quindi alziamoci e continuiamo ad avanzare.

“It would be nice to be like Autumn!”

Learning to let things go, to shift and most of all to welcome change as an opportunity.

I imagine the lightness of a soul that strips itself of the things no longer needs. I feel her breathing! As if holding them back was somehow suffocating her.

Then I see it change… dress itself in new colors, as the Earth does with the mantle of leaves and finally set off towards new awareness.

I believe, in the magic of this season, there’s also a note of melancholy sweetness, perhaps because the air begins to smell of burnt wood and the first signs of smoke come out from the chimneys, as if to remind us that there will always be a warm refuge in which to land for a break or to think.

But this is a long journey and the countdown to the advent of Christmas has already begun, so let’s get up and keep moving forward.
